Arkansas Power Players Field Trip: Saline County Career Technical Campus

High school students participating in Arkansas Advanced Energy’s Power Players scholarship program were given the opportunity this week to tour the Saline County Career Technical Campus in Benton. Led by SCCTC Vice Chancellor, Mason Robinson, the students got to see firsthand the incredible training spaces available for different career tracks - from automotive to nursing, construction and finally solar. JD Poole, Vice President of Special Projects, Sales and Marketing for Seal Solar, met the students at the campus’ solar array, a 423kWdc (kilowatt direct current). The students asked insightful questions and were introduced to career paths they had never explored before.
